Dr Pay Lu Lu obtained her MBBS in National University of Singapore in 1993, and her specialist qualifications in Anaesthesia in 2000. She was awarded a HMDP scholarship by Ministry of Health to further train in obstetric anaesthesia in St Thomas' Hospitalin London in 2003 - 2004. 

 

She is an experienced anaesthetist in private practice since 2008, and provides anaesthesia services in the major local private hospitals. Since 1st July 2019, she has co-located her "PLL Anaesthesia Clinic" with "Tony Tan Women and Fetal Clinic" in Mount Alvernia Hospital.

She worked in the Anaesthesia departments in the local hospitals (e.g. Singapore General Hospital, Changi General Hospital, and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital).  She was Consultant Anaesthetist, Women's Anaesthesia, KK Women's and Children's Hospital till 2008.

She has done many epidural procedures for patients in labour, spinal anaesthesia for patients undergoing Caesarean section, intravenous sedation for minor surgical procedures and general anaesthesia for other surgeries.

She was the Treasurer, Singapore Society of Anaesthesia in 2005-2006.
