FETAL SCREENING AND DIAGNOSIS
We offer a variety of non-invasive prenatal tests (NIPT) for the screening of common chromosomal abnormalities e.g. Trisomies 21 / 18 /13, Monosomy X, triploidy, and some microdeletion syndromes.   We also offer NIPT for twin pregnancies.

We use the high resolution GE E8 ultrasound machine and dedicated Astraia software to provide comprehensive screening of the fetus in the first trimester (checking for common chromosomal abnormalities, obvious structural abnormalities, and preterm pre-eclampsia and intrauterine growth restriction), second trimester (checking for major structural abnormalities, risk of preterm pre-eclampsia and risk of preterm labour) and third trimester (checking for late-onset structural abnormalities, risk of pre-eclampsia and test of placental reserve). 

We also do diagnostic scans for pregnancies where the fetus is suspected to have structural abnormalities on screening ultrasound scans.
